Creative Strategist - Concepts & Brands
Develop hospitality concepts and brands with character, a story and a clear reason to exist.
A good moodboard can start a conversation. Then someone has to figure out what the place stands for, who it’s for and why anyone would want to come back. We’re looking for a creative, strategic thinker to help us answer those questions and turn them into compelling concepts.
Your role
- Explore briefs, audiences, locations and opportunities to identify a relevant creative direction.
- Develop concepts for hotels, restaurants, cafés, houses and other hospitality projects.
- Build brand positioning, brand platforms, names, narratives and tone of voice.
- Translate concepts into principles for guest experience, programming and service.
- Create clear, persuasive client presentations.
- Collaborate with the founder, project managers and designers to carry the idea through into execution.
- Bring references and observations from design, culture, travel and real places into the Studio’s work.
About you
You can write, research, connect ideas and make a convincing case for a creative direction. You combine creative sensitivity with an understanding of how people use places and how those places operate. You can show work where your contribution went beyond collecting references.
What we’re looking for
Distinctive, clear and workable concepts. You can explain what an idea changes for the client, their team and the people walking through the door.
To apply
Send a selection of projects and explain your contribution. We’d like to understand your thinking as much as see the outcome.
